Return Material Policy
Restocking Charges
- 30% restocking fee on all metal roofing, siding, and trim products.
- 10% restocking fee on all other materials.
- Sweetwater Steel reserves the right to adjust these fees on any order as necessary.
Return Conditions
- Materials must be returned in original condition.
- A sales receipt must accompany the returned materials.
- Returns must be made within 45 days of the purchase date.
- The condition of returned materials is subject to inspection and determination by Sweetwater Steel Company.

Stock Availability
Some products listed in the catalog may not be kept in stock at all times.
Price Changes
- Prices are subject to change without notice due to market fluctuations.

- If a product is not listed or in stock, please call. We will attempt to special order the item if we can source it.
Quote Validity
Quotes are valid for 2 weeks from the date quoted due to rapid market fluctuations.
Warranty Policy on Sheet Metal and Trim Products
Invoice Requirement
- Customers must provide a copy of the sales invoice for all warranty claims.
Paint Warranty Coverage
- Covers factory defects such as blistering, cracking, and peeling of paint.
Warranty Exclusions
- Improper installation
- Contact with chemicals (e.g., fertilizers, animal waste) or other corrosive elements.
Chalking and Fading
- All paints will have a tolerance for chalking and fading over time when exposed to ultraviolet rays from the sun. This is to be expected and is NOT covered under our warranty.

- Must be picked up or delivery arrangements made within 10 workdays.
- Failure to pick up or accept delivery of custom orders is subject to a charge of the full price of the order.
- Non-compliance will result in a requirement to prepay for all future orders.
Special Order Items
- A 25% deposit is required on all special order items not in stock.
